Before I start let me ask you – Are you also enjoying working from home?

Me too… I know this feeling of staying at home is as sweet as honey; we are enjoying the best of both worlds; lip-smacking home-cooked food while full-filling our job responsibilities…we all are sailing in the same boat.

As we all know this Coronavirus pandemic has made all of us sit down in our homes; we all have to maintain social distancing – this is our first most priority and duty towards over country but at the same time, we have to keep ourselves healthy.

Do you realize that this continuous staring at laptop screens, television screens, and the mobile screen is making our eyesight weak?

How many of you are facing eye fatigue at night time? Frankly speaking, I am too facing it.

We all are spending our whole day in front of these digital screens which results in eye fatigue mild headache and eye strains.

Here in this blog, I will discuss a few important tips and precautions to improve your eye health and physical health as well:

  • Always wear anti-glare/anti-reflective/blue-ray protection eyeglasses while you are working from home.
  • Follow 30 by 30 rule i.e. after staring a screen for 30 minutes you have to take a break for 30 seconds.
  • Blink your eyes often.
  • Do regular eye exercises.
  • Eat healthy food such as green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, etc.
  • Keep yourself hydrated

In this lockdown period, if you are going out to buy some household items, don’t forget to wear protective glasses and facial masks. After you come back, wash your hands and feet properly. Do not touch anything with unclean hands.

At this moment of time, I request you all – don’t make yourself the slave of digital screens.

Instead of watching television or mobile phone, pursue any hobby that will help eradicate stress and calm down your soul. You can also start some indoor physical exercises or some sort of creative activities like painting, drawing and enjoy this quarantine time.

Comment me and let me know how you are protecting your eyes from Digital Screens during this period of time.
